Chef, rocker, and Shitshow All-Star Todd English is opening a Chicago outpost of his New York City basement food court Plaza Food Hall in summer 2011. The location is unknown for now — so it might not be called the Plaza Food Hall — but in contrast to the 5,400-square-foot NYC space, apparently Chicago's will have 10,000 square feet.
Reviews of the New York location were mixed — See Gael Greene's review and New York magazine's one-star review that said "Does any of the cooking at the Plaza Food Hall retain the unique stamp of a great chef? Of course not." Something to look forward to!
