Last night, Stephen Colbert explored the raw milk debate by talking to the people at Rawesome Foods in Venice, CA, which you may remember as the hippie raw foods club that got raided by a bunch of police officers with huge guns. Turns out the raw milk folks like to drink the stuff because of "the frequency...each physical nutrient possesses." Or something.
Colbert also spoke with former FDA Food Safety Chief David Acheson, who warns of bacterial diseases and, "what a surprise," plays "the bloody diarrhea card." Congressman Ron Paul's got an opinion on "pasteurization without representation," too.
