Employing Illegal Immigrants Leads to Prison

A Baltimore area restaurant owner has been sentenced to four months in prison, four months home detention and a fine of almost $750,000 for employing illegal immigrants. The prison time is meant to send a message; authorities claim with a fine "restaurant owners would simply perform a 'cost-benefit analysis' and continue the behavior if it paid off." [Baltimore Sun]
