Pig Products Are Pretty Much in Everything

You may be aware of the fact that pig bones are used to make gelatin, but did you know that parts of pigs end up in things like bread dough, concrete, soap, paint brushes, heart valves, and even bullets?

Dutch author Christien Meindertsma followed a single pig throughout its life and traced the products into which it was transformed after death. Her research resulted in the book Pig 05049, as well as the TED lecture video below. Add that to this infographic of where cow parts end up, and it seems like it's completely impossible to be a vegan.
