Ex-Food Network Chef Juan-Carlos Cruz Accepts Plea Bargain

Remember that crazy bizarre story about ex-Food Network host Juan-Carlos Cruz and his purported plan to hire a homeless person in Santa Monica to kill his wife? Cruz has been in jail since May and was scheduled to attend a hearing this morning on his attempted murder charges, and TMZ provided an update: Apparently Cruz has accepted a plea bargain. He'll plead guilty to solicitation of murder and spend nine years in jail.
