Cookbook author Kate Leahy has announced she's working on a new book with Illinois chef Paul Virant of Vie. The book will be on canning, but this is not your Grandma's strawberry preserves: ramp sauerkraut was mentioned, as was "a 'lazy' gazpacho, in which most ingredients come from a jar."
