McDonald's Goes Green, Inside and Out

McDonald's is jumping on the eco-conscious bandwagon: a location in Los Angeles reopened yesterday after an overhaul that rendered it more sustainable and energy efficient. Also, check out those green arches!

This particular fast food stop now boasts low-flow plumbing fixtures, recycled denim insulation, and photovoltaic panels that help reduce the restaurant's power usage, among other green(washing) initiatives. The food, however, remains the same, cheap and indestructible.
