The University of Wisconsin-Madison's newspaper, The Badger Herald, reports on a drug-dealing lunch cart near campus, JD's Express, that may be jeopordizing the fate of mobile vendors in the area. The big tip off that the lunch cart was also selling drugs? They set up a tent next to the cart, where customers were entering and exiting without food, and throwing around the word "dimebag" a lot. Says a relative of the cart owner "Ain’t no drug dealing going out of here—just steak, burgers and chicken sandwiches." A local business committee is considering instituting a ban on street vendors in the area, which would not only effect JD's Express, but also nearby cart, For Crepe Sake! [The Badger Herald]
