Among the odd promotional gifts awarded to Top Chef winners, is a $100,000 credit to Macy's, which Michael Voltaggio cashed in this week at a mall in Southern California. Upon entering the store, Michael said "I think what I'm going to do, for the first time in my life, is just walk around the store and just grab everything that I want and not even look at the price tags. Until they tell me to stop." And shop he did. The younger Voltaggio bro picked up seven different Kitchen aid Mixers, $800 Delonghi espresso machine (for Bryan) and several Emporio Armani shirts.[The OC Register]
