Bucking the country's holiday spending trends, cookbook sales thrived over the holidays, and now the results are in. The runaway winner was Thomas Keller's Ad Hoc at Home, which sold out on Amazon around Thanksgiving and many booksellers called "Keller’s fastest-selling book ever." Other food-related books that sold well over the holidays were Jim Lahey's My Bread, Alton Brown's Good Eats: The Early Years and anything related to Julia Child. [Publishers Weekly]
