oldtacobell.jpgGlenn Bell Jr., the founder of Taco Bell, has died at the age of 86. The fast food titan got in the restaurant game back in 1948 with the opening of Bell's Drive, a hamburger and hot dog stand that slowly morphed into a Mexican restaurant: "Once he perfected his taco shell recipe, taco sauces and the convenient drive-thru concept he was ready to introduce the tastes and textures of Mexican food to mainstream America." This is the second big fast food titan that we've lost in 2010, after the creator of the Quarter Pounder With Cheese passed away just two weeks ago [MW]
