The results of the 2010 Michelin Guide UK are out a week early (Amazon obtained a copy, and spilled the beans), and of the new stars handed out, the big piece of news is that Alain Ducasse's restaurant at the Dorchester in London was bumped up from two stars to three. When the restaurant was awarded two stars last year, many scoffed at the notion that it was even worthy of the deuce. Ducasse now holds 19 stars for his restaurants worldwide, and while that's a lot, he's still only the second to Joel Robuchon, who holds 25 stars in his ever growing restaurant empire. [Bloomberg]
