Today marks the formal unveiling of Starbucks' new line of instant coffee, Via. It's the largest investment ever in a national launch for the troubled 'Bucks, and Howard Schultz is calling it "perhaps the biggest opportunity" in company history. Now, Starbucks has rarely resorted to television for advertising, which makes it so notable as to why such a momentous launch would be unveiled with a series of four, 15-second spots debuted during Saturday Night Live (note: two more commercials are after the jump). The ads challenge coffee drinkers to tell the difference between Starbucks' "normal" coffee and Via instant brew. But are they brilliant or just plain silly? Do exercise your right to vote:
