Landmark Cleveland Eatery Burns Down, McD Struggles

CLEVELAND—It's no secret that sometimes, restaurateurs might have to cut costs, but here's a story that might make some think twice about cutting their insurance: after canceling insurance five months back, Cleveland's historic Lancer Steakhouse burned down on Sunday. The good news is that the entire community—including the mayor— has vowed to rebuild it, though most of the photos and memorabilia are gone. [Plain Dealer]
