Earlier this week, Food Network revealed that 2009 was its best year ever. Not to be outdone, Bravo announced that fourth consecutive best year ever across all key demos. Furthermore, Top Chef was once again the top food show on cable and won its Wednesday 10PM time slot, averaging 2.53 million adults 18-49 and 3.61 million total viewers in its sixth season. In other words, food television is doing quite well nowadays. [Futon Critic, previously]
