Bon Appetit is the latest publication to share its thoughts on the year that was and the trends that will capture the imaginations of the food world in 2010. Some are weirder (Cuisine of the Year: New Austrian) than others (Dish of the Year: Meatballs), but perhaps most interestingly, San Francisco's Michelin two-star chef Daniel Patterson proclaims Sirchacha Hot Sauce to be the Ingredient of the Year.
