Yesterday in the Big Apple, the Bravo casting crews made their latest stop on their nationwide recruiting tour for the seventh season of Top Chef (and also the first season of the pastry-centric Top Chef: Just Desserts). For the New York cattle call, Eater was there to chronicle the madness, ask hard-hitting questions and naturally, do a fair share of cringing as the shiny lights of Top Chef attracted the under-qualified, the overqualified, the batshit, and everything in between.
