2009_11_waiterrules.jpgThe second half of "100 Things Restaurant Staffers Should Never Do" is now up online, and like the first 50, there are a few oddballs and a few that every restaurant should be doing. Some of the more notable rules that might prompt discussion: Bring the pepper mill with the appetizer; Never bring a check until someone asks for it; Refrain from touching the wet spots on the guest; and our personal favorite, "Do not play brass — no brassy Broadway songs, brass bands, marching bands, or big bands that feature brass, except a muted flugelhorn."
