A pair of Chicago restaurant institutions will be riding off into the sunset before long. Tribune critic Phil Vettel shares more on the history of Don Roth's Blackhawk and its famous salad spinner, along with the statement from the owner: "It became crystal clear, that with my pushing 90 and with none of my children choosing to run the business, that 40 great years here were really quite enough for me."
