Like their Nevada counterparts in Vegas, bars in Reno stay open 24 hours a day, but that policy is coming under fire: "Reno Police Chief Michael Poehlman has asked owners of 15 bars in downtown Reno's west side, normally open around the clock, to close their doors from 4 a.m. to 6 a.m. so residents can get some shut eye." So far, most of the bars have complied, but some are complaining nonetheless. For example, since the casinos can stay open 24/7, the 4AM lushes can just relocate there, though simply being in Reno is really the bigger problem here. [USA Today]
