Bobby Flay Opens His Second Location of Bar Americain

New, 1 comment

Today, Bobby Flay officially rolls out his second location of his brasserie concept, Bar Americain. The NYC original opened way back in 2005, and this first sequel is housed within the friendly confines of the Mohegan Sun casino. Designed by hotshot designer David Rockwell, the 11,500-square foot, 276-seat behemoth is Flay's 10th restaurant overall, but his first real one in New England (he also has a burger joint at Mohegan). For the most part, it's loyal to the Manhattan original, but given the location, BA 2.0 will feature some dishes that "showcase the wealth of ingredients and traditions" of New England and Native American culture. So there's that.
