Previewing Twist, Morimoto in Miami, Woodward Update

LAS VEGAS—One of the most anticipated restaurant openings of the year is quickly nearing in Pierre Gagnaire's American debut at Twist in the CityCenter complex, and with a debut only two weeks away, the Times profiles the chef, noting how he's been perceived as an "enfant terrible, a conjurer and a master of suspense and, well, humor." MIAMI—Eater Miami squashes some rumors that Masaharu Morimoto is already set to open a restaurant in downtown Miami, at least now: "We heard from Mark Stone, Morimoto's biz manager, who told us that while the Iron Chef and co. have had conversations with several parties in Miami, they haven't signed or committed to do anything down here--yet."
