It was not as epic as her defining role in Glitter, not as indie as her part in the Eels' music video, but Padma Lakshmi's appearance on 30 Rock last night was something to see. While Pads at least scores some points for having a good sense of humor about the whole thing (see the weird sandwich bag bit), it's a tad strained. B+ effort all around.
