Lost in the big cookbook releases (namely Ad Hoc and Momofuku) is the fact that Iron Chef Michael Symon will release his very first cookbook next week. Symon partnered with Cleveland buddy Michael Ruhlman on the project, called Live to Cook: Recipes and Techniques to Rock Your Kitchen. It should come as no surprise that The Plain Dealer likes its hometown hero's work: "If you're wondering what defines a celebrity chef, here it is. It's about the food, granted, but there's one more thing. Symon's a guy people want to hang with." [PD]
