Bourdain on San Francisco's Chang Ban: "Absolutely Shameful"

Just in case you haven't noticed, there's a hot comment thread at yesterday's post regarding San Francisco's cancellation of David Chang's book signing, which was prompted by some SF chefs who didn't appreciate Chang's fig joke. Now, none other than Anthony Bourdain has chimed in with some pointed criticism of the man who nixed Chang's SF appearance, the Asia Society's program director Robert Bullock:

It's absolutely shameful that a cultural institution--in a city once famous for its championing of free speech and dissent--would refuse association with what is inarguably an important book over a few ill formed and ill considered hurt feelings...
