Today, for the first time, Eater heads to Reykjavik, Iceland and focuses on seven restaurants that have been garnering serious buzz. For this particular edition, local writer, blogger, and artist Hallgerður Hallgrímsdóttir has made the selections and shared her thoughts on them. Among the group are two lively small plates spots (Tapas húsið for Spanish, Forréttabarinn for New Nordic), a restaurant on the top floor of the Harpa Concert Hall with authorial cooking and sweeping views (Kolabrautin), a sausage shop (Pylsumeistarinn), and two badass but inviting grills (Grillmarkaðurinn and Sjávargrillið).
