Cooking Channel is launching a new show that actually features some cooking. According to a press release, Actress Tiffani Thiessen, of Saved by the Bell fame, will star in her own show called Dinner at Tiffani's. The series will center around Thiessen hosting "intimate dinner parties at her home" with her family, friends, and former castmates.
The 10 half-hour long episodes will feature "party-pleasing recipes" like roasted dates with smoked bacon and goat cheese and watermelon champagne cocktails. Thiessen will also explore themed-decorations for each dinner. A slew of actors and entertainers are set to make an appearance on the show too, including Tim DeKay, Lance Bass, Elizabeth Berkley, Jason Priestley, Mario Lopez, Seth Green, and Emily Procter. Dinner at Tiffani's will premiere February 25.
February is set to be a big month for the channel: Cooking Channel will air the new season of French chef Eric Ripert's Emmy Award-winning series Avec Eric. The "revamped" version of the series will trace "Ripert's journey as he explores the people, places, cultures, and ingredients that influence his cooking style." Avec Eric begins airing February 28.
