Reservation powerhouse OpenTable has just announced the launch of a brand new blog: Called Open for Business, it's targeted toward restaurant owners and focuses "on how to open and run a restaurant successfully as a business."
The blog "will feature tips, tricks and fresh ideas from top restaurateurs, editors and experts." Content that can already be found on the blog includes a Q&A with Ruth Reichl in which she spills on what critics look for when it comes to service, and even offers a few tips on how restaurants can spot critics in their dining rooms; there's also a feature in which heavy hitters like Shake Shack king Danny Meyer and Food & Wine editor-in-chief Dana Cowin share their industry predictions for 2015.
It's certainly been a busy couple of months for OpenTable: After being acquired by Priceline earlier in the year, the reservation system hopped on the ApplePay bandwagon and also launched a snazzy new website last month.
