Ever dream of having sub-par beer delivered right to your door? Well you're in luck. The Drinks Business reports that Anheuser-Busch InBev is introducing a new beer delivery app in the United States called the Bud Light Button. AB InBev partnered with "digital innovation agency and platform provider" Klink to create the service. Interested parties can order between one and 100 cases of beer and have it delivered by Klink, through an independent retailer, within an hour. Sounds like a frat bro's dream come true.
The app is currently available for Android only, but an iOS version will be released soon. Unfortunately if you don't live in the Washington, D.C. area, you'll have to go to the store to buy Bud Light like all the other normal people out there. If you do live the D.C. market, AB InBev may even deliver "an over-the-top experience" like a DJ with the beer. The Wall Street Journal writes that the app launches today.
Miller Lite launched a similar service last month. The beer company teamed up with an alcohol-delivery app to deliver 12- and 24-packs of Miller Lite to customers' homes. It plans to continue this service throughout the early part of 2015. Check out an ad for the Bud Light Button below:
