Espresso maker Lavazza, engineering company Argotec and the Italian Space Agency have joined forces to create Isspresso, the first espresso maker for the International Space Station. The machine is quite heavy, weighing in at almost 50 pounds, and relies on a zero-gravity safe capsule-system to function, reports The Independent. As is standard in space, astronauts will be required to sip the piping hot liquid from straws inserted into plastic bags, though the crema atop each shot looks pretty authentic. Go watch:
