Here's CNN's Erin Burnett interviewing Parts Unknown host Anthony Bourdain about his favorite experiences on the show. Bourdain reveals that shooting with chef Paul Bocuse in France was his "sentimental favorite" episode ("that goes deep into my many years as a chef and my first true love, food and gastronomy'). Bourdain admits that he never expected to find himself sitting next to the chef "as he went through the greatest hits of his entire career." He then goes on to compare Bocuse to Muhammad Ali, proclaiming that "he's a fascinating man" who "transcends his profession."
As per usual, the interview is filled with great Bourdain one-liners. On drinking in Russia: "Any 80 year-old grandmother in Russia can drink me under the table, throw me over the shoulder, and ride me home … I consider myself a professional drinker but I cannot keep up with these guys. I need a few years in between these Russia shows." The third season of Parts Unknown premiered last Sunday and the Lyon episode with Bocuse will air on April 27. Go, watch:
