FOOD MEDIA— The world's premier tire-manufacturer-turned-restaurant-ranking-system Michelin has announced the launch of a new "quick reference" print guide. According to a press release, a series of "Map[s] of Great Places to Eat 2015" features all Michelin-starred restaurants and Michelin Bib Gourmands within each U.S. city with a Michelin guide: New York, San Francisco, and Chicago. The New York version is available on store shelves today, with SF and Chicago's maps launching in January 2015. [EaterWire]
CHICAGO— Chicago's annual Restaurant Week has announced its 2015 dates and lineup: Eater Chicago reports the "week" will run January 30 through February 15, featuring more than 250 restaurants. Each will offer special prix fixe menus during lunch or dinner (sometimes both), priced across the board at $33 for lunch and $44 during dinner. Menus and reservations are available here. [ECHI]
SCHOLARSHIPS— The James Beard Foundation's oddly male-mentor-heavy Women in Culinary Leadership Program has extended its deadline for interested applicants: Women "with at least two years of professional culinary experience" can now apply for the grant through January 16, 2015. Those selected will enter either a six- or 12-month mentorship program with a participating chef, plus a stipend of $500 per week to cover living expenses. Get the application here. [EaterWire]
