There's a brand new food event heading to LA this Spring, and it's bringing heavy hitting chefs to the area. The first-ever All-Star Chef Classic has announced its impressive lineup in the press release below which includes: Dominique Crenn, Wylie Dufresne, Nancy Silverton, Roy Choi, Graham Elliot, Gavin Kaysen, Nancy Oakes, and many, many others. A few French chefs are also heading to LA for the event including Iñaki Aizpitarte, Marc Meneau, and Alain Passard.
Some of the programming over the course of the three-day event will take place in the Restaurant Stadium, a space at the L.A. Live arena that will bring "fans 'kitchen-side' in a small VIP stadium setting." Key events include the French Masters Dinner, the Grill and Chill cookout, and the Savor the Season tasting event. Los Angeles, CA (January 22nd, 2014) – The Inaugural All-Star Chef Classic at L.A. LIVE, a never-before-seen modern food event bringing together over 25 highly acclaimed chefs from around the country and across the world for unique and interactive dining experiences, is set to debut March 21-23 at L.A. LIVE's Event Deck. The event was announced today by culinary industry veterans and founders of Alice in Events, LLC. Lucy Lean and Krissy Lefebvre who have partnered with AEG, owners and operators of the downtown Los Angeles Sports and Entertainment District. The three-day event will feature a constellation of chefs including Iñaki Aizpitarte, Roy Choi, Michael Cimarusti, Josiah Citrin, Dominique Crenn, Vinny Dotolo, Wylie Dufresne, Graham Elliot, Jennifer Jasinski, Gavin Kaysen, Ludo Lefebvre, David LeFevre, Donald Link, Waylynn Lucas, Marc Meneau, David Myers, Nancy Oakes, Alain Passard, Naomi Pomeroy, Paul Qui, Alex Seidel, Jon Shook, Nancy Silverton, and Ricardo Zarate. All-Star Chef Classic will feature master chefs cooking and collaborating in venues designed to provide guests with up-close, unique and interactive culinary experiences.
The first-of-a-kind All-Star Chef Classic venues will include Restaurant Stadium and the Chefs' Tasting Arena all hosted on L.A. LIVE's Event Deck. Restaurant Stadium will be the center of the action bringing over 250 fans 'kitchen-side' in a small VIP stadium setting, where they can be as close to the action as possible without being in the heat of the kitchen. It will host the premiere "French Masters Dinner" and "All-Star Lunch" for engaging dining experiences as well as the "Grill and Chill" and "Savor the Season" events for presentations and demos. The Chefs' Tasting Arena is designed to complement the Restaurant Stadium and will feature a more expansive layout for tastings, showcases and celebrations, especially at the "Grill and Chill" and "Savor the Season" events, providing guests with access to meet their favorite chefs and taste multi-cultural cuisines.

The "French Masters Dinner" is a celebration of French culinary excellence through the generations, hosted by Los Angeles' own Ludo Lefebvre. "Savor the Season Presented by Melissa's Produce" will wrap up the weekend with a Farmer's Market celebration of what LA has in abundance – seasonal, fresh, local ingredients cooked up and elevated to great heights by All-Star chefs including Wylie Dufresne, Graham Elliot, Nancy Silverton, Jennifer Jasinski, David Myers, Vinny Dotolo, David LeFevre, Josiah Citrin, Alex Seidel and Waylynn Lucas. The chefs will create seasonal dishes using produce from a local purveyor/farmer providing the 600 guests with a variety of tastes as well as recipe cards to prepare the dish at home. "Savor The Season" will also feature a kid's zone with fun culinary activities including a mini-fonut baking lesson for 60 children by Waylynn Lucas.
