Mark Bittman's first op-ed column, "A Food Manifesto for the Future," is up. His list includes reasonable (but unlikely) things like ending government subsidies to processed food, outlawing mega feed lots aka CAFOs, and "legislation curbing the relentless marketing of soda and other foods that are hazardous to our health — including the sacred cheeseburger and fries."
