On SNL, Kermit Says 'Really?!?' to Pizza as a Vegetable

The all-out Muppet blitz continues: Animal played the drums on Jimmy Fallon on Friday, and then Kermit the Frog stopped by Saturday Night Live's Weekend Update to do a special "Really?!? With Seth & Kermit" segment. The topic: Congress declaring pizza vegetable. Because Kermit is some kind of nutrition or politics expert? He's just a puppet.

Said Seth Myers: "Cafeteria pizza barely qualifies as a pizza. It has the same nutritional value as the tray it's served on. And if pizza is a vegetable now, what's broccoli? Penicillin?" Said Kermit of the obesity epidemic: "Have you been down to the town pool? Those aren't swimsuits, those are sausage casings... I'm really gonna be in trouble for that one later."
