Here's the poster being put up on city streets for Anthony Bourdain's new Travel Channel show The Layover. The poster is maybe a little bizarre?
So many questions: Why are his shoes off? Because he's going through airport security? Then why are they wet? The wet shoes — do they signify that Bourdain is getting his feet wet? That Bourdain just walked on water? That the time on the clock on which he stands, much like water, is liquid and flowing? That time is an illusion?
Also the chopsticks: Does Bourdain always hold chopsticks in the air, even when he's not eating any food? Hopefully the show won't be as confusing as the promotional material; The Layover premieres November 21. Here's the full size version:
